What Goodfeed Collects
Goodfeed may store information needed to create and sync your account, including your display name, profile image, selected avatar or accent, followed topics, bookmarks, private thoughts, app preferences, language, theme, feed layout choices, muted Discover filters, notification preferences, and account sync data. Recent search history is kept on your device. If you sign in with Apple, Goodfeed receives the sign-in identifier and any email address you choose to share.
Location
Location is optional. If you use a local search and allow location access, Goodfeed may use approximate location, city, region, coordinates, and related context to search for local updates. Location is used only to provide local content and is not sold.
Photos and Profile Images
If you choose a profile photo, Goodfeed may access the selected image so it can appear in your profile. Profile images may be stored for account sync when sync is enabled.
Searches, Sources, and AI Summaries
When you search, follow a topic, refresh a feed item, or use Discover, Goodfeed may send the topic text, language, tone preference, search mode, and limited context needed to find current public information. Goodfeed retrieves public web sources, uses AI processing to create summaries, and may keep topic summaries, source details, images, and refresh times so results load faster and stay consistent.
Service Providers
Goodfeed uses service providers to operate the app and the features you choose to use. These may include Apple for sign-in and in-app purchases, RevenueCat for subscription status and purchase management, Supabase for account sync and storage, Cloudflare for app infrastructure and search services, Expo for push notification delivery, and AI providers for summary generation.
Subscriptions
If you purchase Goodfeed Pro, purchases are processed through Apple in-app purchase. Goodfeed and RevenueCat may receive subscription status, entitlement status, product identifiers, renewal state, and related purchase metadata so the app can unlock Pro features, restore purchases, and provide customer support. Goodfeed does not receive your full payment card details.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Goodfeed may store an Expo push token, notification schedule preferences, and the time a notification was last sent. Notification payloads can include the topic title, headline, interest id, and routing data so tapping a notification can open the right summary. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.
How Data Is Used
Data is used to operate Goodfeed, personalize your feed, sync your account, restore your followed topics and saved items, provide notifications, improve reliability, enforce search limits and safety filters, prevent abuse, debug issues, and provide support. Your saved items, thoughts, and preferences are for your account. Goodfeed does not sell your personal data.
Deleting or Exporting Data
You can export your Goodfeed data and delete your account from Settings. Account deletion removes synced account data tied to your account and returns the device to onboarding. Shared topic summaries are not personal account records and may remain to keep Goodfeed working for other users. Backups, logs, or security records may remain briefly where needed for safety, debugging, legal compliance, or system recovery.
Children
Goodfeed is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact Goodfeed at the email below.
Changes
Goodfeed may update this policy as features, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date above will show when the policy was last revised.
