Using Goodfeed
Goodfeed lets you follow topics, search current information, browse Discover, save bookmarks, write private thoughts, and read AI-assisted summaries based on public web sources. Goodfeed is for general informational use only. It is not professional, medical, legal, financial, safety, or emergency advice.
Accounts and Sync
Goodfeed uses Apple sign-in for account creation and sync. Your account can sync your profile, followed interests, bookmarks, thoughts, notification settings, and app preferences. You are responsible for keeping your Apple account and device secure. If you delete your account in Settings, Goodfeed will delete synced account data that is tied to your account.
Searches, AI Summaries, and Sources
Goodfeed retrieves recent public web sources and uses AI systems to turn them into readable summaries, headlines, updates, and public-discussion context. AI can make mistakes, omit context, misunderstand sources, or reflect incomplete search results. Always check original sources before relying on anything important.
Followed Topics, Discover, and Refreshes
Goodfeed refreshes followed topics and Discover stories on scheduled windows and may keep shared topic summaries so results load faster and stay consistent. Refresh timing depends on network access, source availability, service limits, and device behavior.
Location
Location is optional. If you choose to use a local search, Goodfeed may ask for location so it can understand your city or area. You can also search local topics by typing a city or place name instead.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Goodfeed may send a brief update for one newly refreshed followed topic or another enabled Goodfeed update. Notifications are informational and may arrive late, not arrive, or display shortened text depending on iOS and delivery conditions.
Subscriptions
Goodfeed may offer optional paid subscriptions, such as Goodfeed Pro. Pricing, renewal timing, cancellation, restore options, and other subscription terms will be shown before purchase through Apple in-app purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.
Acceptable Use
Do not misuse Goodfeed, interfere with the service, attempt to bypass limits or safety filters, scrape the service, reverse engineer private systems, submit harmful or illegal searches, or use the app to violate laws or the rights of others. Goodfeed may limit, block, or refuse searches that appear unsafe, abusive, or outside the purpose of the app.
Changes and Availability
Goodfeed may change, improve, pause, or discontinue features. Search results, summaries, Discover stories, account sync, and notifications depend on outside information sources and may not always be available.
Disclaimer and Liability
Goodfeed is provided as-is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Goodfeed is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses related to reliance on summaries, unavailable services, incorrect information, source errors, or notification delays.
